From the very first moment that I met LeeAna and Matt is was obvious that these two know how to have a great time and that’s exactly what they and all their guests did. Tucked away in the mountains of Idaho Springs, Colorado and near the base of Mount Evans is Blackstone River Ranch. This was an absolutely perfect venue to celebrate their love for one another surrounded by some of the world’s most beautiful scenery.
The day started out at a nearby Black Hawk casino resort called Ameristar. With their suite packed, full of friends and family, the morning was filled with laughter and excitement as everyone got ready. Later in the afternoon LeeAna and Matt decided to have first-look. Matt, all alone, stood silently, I’d imagine full of excitement. LeeAna approached and they met on a small bridge, in a beautiful grove of trees. LeeAna, full of energy, and Matt slightly emotion, they hugged and kissed and briefly talked about the event ahead.
The ceremony was a perfect mixture of both formality and silliness. Personal vows were given to one another as they promised to put each other first. Dozens of butterflies were released in memory of passed loved ones.
Shortly after an elegant dinner, the couple shared a first dance as husband and wife as well as parent dances and then invited all the guests to party. There was no shortage of dancing and energy which continued well into the night.
