Deer Creek Valley Ranch Wedding by Denver Photographer | Alaine and Brian
An ominous bout of fog rolled in over the Colorado mountains as Alaine and Brian started their big day. Colorado weather can be volatile, and this Memorial-Day-Weekend wedding was not immune. But they had come prepared.
With Chuck Taylors on her feet and a smile on her face, Alaine laughed away the morning getting ready with her friends at the beautiful Deer Creek Valley Ranch tucked away in the mountains of Bailey, Colorado.
Brian didn’t skip a beat as the snow began to fall. He looked out the big barn doors cooly between rounds of pool as he and his friends enjoyed the morning.
The guests came prepared as well. As the ceremony approached, a pristine layer of snow settled over the landscape, turning the whole place into a Winter (ahem, Spring) wonderland. Guests pulled out colorful umbrellas and waited attentively as the ceremony began.
The silence broke with the sound of a revving engine. Guests turned in their seats to see Alaine, pulling into the ceremony site in her classy White Chevelle: her engagement “ring” from Brian (we vote yes on using cars as engagement gifts!).
This epic entrance led to an epic ceremony followed by an epic evening. The dance floor was ablaze even amidst the frost, which, incidentally, made for a breathtaking evening of cigars and stargazing.
Congratulations, Alaine and Brian!
