Golden Colorado Wedding At Boettcher Mansion - Scott and Anita
Boettcher Mansion was a wonderful location to celebrate Scott and Anita’s wedding. I first met Scott and Anita last September as we shot their super fun engagements in downtown Denver. I knew from that day on that these two were special and have been looking forward to capturing and celebrating their wedding day ever since.
Unexpected circumstances made it so Scott’s father wasn’t able to attend the wedding, so this morning I woke up with the goal of getting this blog post up, so his dad could experience the celebration right away.
Their Story: We me through mutual friends at a local bar and restaurant in Downtown Denver. A last ditch effort business card handoff from Scott, lead to some missed communications with a text message to a landline. A few months of persistence, and eventually Anita agreed to a romantic local (dive) Mexican restaurant date night we began winning each other’s attention and affection. One date turned into two, and then eventually we booked our wedding photographer... Engagement took place close to Anita’s roots of Chicago. Christmas trip back home, after receiving permission from her parents and coordinating city site seeing with mutual friends in town for the holidays, Scott proposed to Anita downtown in front of the bean (cloudgate sculpture in millennium park).
